Sequence 1

Clip 01.

BEFORE

AFTER

The VFX that was created for this sequence is supposed to resemble a “burst of emotions” that fills the room/area with the emotional color that the subject is feeling. In this sense, the camera pans away to enhance the feeling of the burst of color.

Clip 02.

BEFORE

AFTER

The VFX added to this clip is all to the right of the subject. As she is walking by, you can see that the cranes behind her are distorting and blurring out, losing its color. This is supposed to give the effect that all the sadness is in front of the subject. It is what she is seeing and feeling.

Sequence 2

Clip 01.

Two bottles inside an empty refrigerator, one green with a white label and the other dark with a white label showing a dragon and the text "Kirin Ichiban".

BEFORE

Two bottles of beverages inside a refrigerator, one labeled with Korean characters and a grapefruit illustration, the other labeled Kirin Ichiban beer with a dragon illustration.

AFTER

To enhance this sequence/clip I have added a fasting motion zoom blur VFX that is suppose to resemble the idea of a flash back to old memories. The VFX overall is suppose to reflect the eye around the edges as if you are watching it from my POV. This clip continues for another few seconds with quick cuts to other clips.

Sequence 3

Clip 01.

For this sequence I had to film multiple takes to make sure I got the right motion and frames. After getting the right sequence, the effect was done within both After Effects and Premiere Pro to make myself float.

Color Grading

Color grading is one of my favorite things to do when it comes to post production on my videos. This video shows the breakdown of my color grading process and what I created as a LUT and preset. I do make my own Presets & LUTS from start to finish and try my best to capture the type of tone I am looking for.

Another color grading breakdown I created to share of my social platforms.

Close-up of a black object, possibly a shoe, with background of yellow and purple hues.

BEFORE

Close-up of a person playing air hockey, using their finger to hit the puck on a yellow surface, with a reflection of their face on the glass.

AFTER

A digital camera with a black screen and two lens components, lying on dry grass and twigs.

Branding and Design

‘Wonder. Music’ was a brand and YouTube Channel that I founded in 2015 that first started as ‘The Everlasting Sounds’. The idea behind this channel was to share music that artist around the world created that I loved to listen to. After a few uploads, this channel turned into promoting music for others to listen to through contacting multiple artists and asking to share their music with my subscribers and other partnerships that I had created in the first few months of the development of this channel. After a few uploads, the channel hit an overall view count of one million with some recognition by artists. After a series of uploads, the channel was changed to ‘Wonder. Music’ to be able to be rememberable and easier to search for. Several videos broke through and hit the top search in Google searches, further enhancing the audience reach and view counts.

As of today, the channel is still on, however inactive. I have stopped posting to this channel a few years ago and feel like this was the best learning opportunity I’ve had when starting my career.
